It was a decent movie, I enjoyed watching it despite what I've said. I don't regret going to see it or anything- I just don't think it's as good as people are hyping it up to be.

Black Swan was not as good as I was expecting it to be, a real let down. Although it wasn't a horrible movie, it wasn't an astonishing one either. It was interesting to see a retelling of Swan Lake, but the horror/psychological thriller just didn't click in very well. The movie was cheesy at most. Things were a tad too obvious from the beginning and the "transformation" scenes were really laughable. Really, I think I laughed more at this film than I experienced any type of fear. It felt like more of a video nasty than an honest to goodness thriller. The only thing that "scared" (I use this word lightly) me was the gratuitous shots of nails- and that's only because I have a general disliking of feet and fingernails.
