Drawing

I never know how to draw Alex. He is a handsome piece of man muffin and I want his butt, but when I do a lil doodle of him I always have to lie abit. Alex has facial hair and whenever I draw it on him the picture gets ten times creepier. I've got no problem with his man mane in real life, but drawing it's just... wrong.

He is right beside me right now playing Mount and Blade trying to defend a castle versus 1057 people. He has 70.

Good luck.

I have an addictive personality, not like I'm addicting to be around but I become addicted to things easily. If I enjoy something the chances are I will not put down this interest until I have exhausted it extensively. This latest obession has been Mount and Blade, an open ended action rpg for the computer avilable on steam. I'm not into Medieval fantasy at all, if anything I tend to aviod the genre as a whole. That is why I am slightly confused to why I've spend over 3 hours a day fighting long and hard against the wimpy Swadians.

Playing without a concrete story is daunting at first but the fun of battles, tournaments and quests soon helps the looming fear dissapear. Rather than being propelled by an indepth story, Mount and Blade is instead propelled by the player own ambitions and fun, exciting gameplay. I have played over 10 hours of the game as a whole and I still find there are more things to see and do.

The game is not for everyone, espeically those who put an importance on graphics. Being an older game you can't neccesarily blame it for it's rustic textures and choppy models. If you can push past the first impression and get to the core of the game, the graphics quickly take a backseat to fun. Gameplay is addictive, but battles take practice and people without paitence could find the learning curve tedious. If you really find the graphics that offendsive, there are now two sequels out for Mount and Blade with improved graphics, story and game play. I just haven't gotten around to buying them. (If you're interested in buying them I would do that now since they are all on sale on Steam)

I reccomend anyone willing to sit down, learn and play to pick up this game and get ready for an addiction. If you enjoy the managment and sieging aspects of games like RotTK and the hack and slash game play of Demon Souls or Sengoku Basara, I would highly reccomend it as well. Good times all around.
